I am working on a little series of ‘nothings’. It’s all about the world around me and the pleasure of being artistic. I don’t have to make it into something! I don’t have to frame it. I don’t have to use it. For the first time in my life I am doodling and loving it.
And just quietly, so do I.
The perfect writer’s retreat. My mind is in Moscow but my heart is in the back-blocks of Thames.
Oh look! It wasn’t a dream. It really did happen. 🙂
Our next gig will be outside the Thames Memorial Hall, Anzac Day morning. Be there, or be square.
Meow. Purr purr. (Got your attention though, huh?)
Us cats here, whilst enjoying not having to dodge the rain whilst performing our ablutions, are quite thoroughly and heartily sick of this hot weather. Why, it’s all we can do of a day to get out of bed, walk to the food bowl, and wander back to bed!
Another work in the headlands sculpture in the gulf on Waiheke Island in January. Pretty scary I thought.
EarthFlight One: A Dragon’s Adventure always works.
Pick a nice place to do it, I say.
Running stitch on dyed cotton. I made this into a little book about 12 x 10 cm.
